Our story

Custom Cult started ten years ago with a simple frustration: off-the-shelf boards are designed for an average rider who doesn't exist. Every great day on the mountain comes down to a board that fits your stance, your style, and your terrain, so we started building them one at a time.

A decade of hand-built boards taught us what actually changes the ride: the relationship between a rider's body, their stance, and the geometry under their feet. We turned that hard-won knowledge into a calculation engine that translates a few honest answers about how you ride into a board built precisely for you.

For v3 we opened that engine up. Riders, artists, and influencers can now create algorithms: signature setups that bias a board toward a particular style, and earn a commission every time someone rides what they designed. Every board is still made by hand, in-house, in the United States.

What we believe

• Every board is unique. We don't keep an inventory of finished boards. Yours is calculated and built for you, from scratch.
• Ride what you design. You make the calls that matter: stance, intensity, shape, and graphics. The engine handles the math.
• Designers get paid. The riders and artists who create the algorithms behind great boards earn real commissions when those boards sell.
• Made by hand, made here. Every Custom Cult board is manufactured in-house in the US, with no third-party factory.
• Your art, your board. Upload your own graphic or generate one. It becomes the topsheet of a board you'll actually ride.
